Effie Burns

TRENTON — Effie Jane Burns, age 94, passed away Tuesday evening, August 27, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Burns was a member of the New England Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, working in her garden and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband Robert Burns; parents Edward and Leona Chambers; five siblings. Surviving include her daughter Barbara (Jeremy) Camp of Trenton, GA; son Raburn (Teresa) Burns of Trenton, GA; grandchildren Christy Beatty, Stephanie Beatty, and Leslie Burns; four great-grandchildren Jayla, Gage, Colton, and Tay; brother W.B. Chambers; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Bro. Alan Flowers and Bro. James McMahan officiating. Interment will follow Trenton Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday and 12:00 PM to service time Friday at the Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, GA.
