Glenna Turner

Glenna Bankie Linebarger Marcus Turner passed away on Jan. 27, 2019, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn. She was born April 5, 1959. Glenna’s occupation was a Massage Therapist, she also was an artist, loving mother, daughter, and loved her siblings. Above all she loved the Lord. Glenna was a faithful member of the Chamberlain Road Full Gospel Church in Georgia. Glenna was preceded in death by her father, David Linebarger, of Jacksonville, Fla.; husband, David Turner, of Ringgold, Ga.; grandparents, Glen and Bankie Linebarger, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Charlie and Sara Alge, of Spring City, Tenn. She is survived by her mother and dad, Sharon and Harry Hilke, of Spring City, Tenn.; her sons, Taylor (Shea) Marcus, and Justin; her previous husband, Walter Marcus of Dayton, Tenn.; brothers, Charlie Linebarger, of Spring City, Tenn., Bert Linebarger, of Dayton, Tennessee, and Richard (Luana) Hilke, of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Barbara Hanson, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Eva (Jimmy) Hampton, of Spring City, Tenn., Ray Lindsey, of Lafayette, Ga.; and she also has five grandchildren, several nephews and a niece. There will be a memorial service at Texas Grove Baptist Church in Evensville, Tennessee on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at 11 a.m.
