DUNLAP — H.D. "Ted" Johnston, 81, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2019. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Bell Johnston; parents, Ira and Cleo Tollett Johnston; sisters, Maxine Douglas and Mary Lewis; brother, Berbin Johnston He is survived by daughters, Sheila Johnston, Roseanna (Burt) Kilgore, Alice (Andrew) Stone; son, Darrell (Megan) Johnston; sister, Pauline Easterly; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. CST Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. at Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center
