Charles Mathely

Charles Mathely, 72, passed away on Dec. 31, 2018. He was a member of the Daisy First Baptist Church, a lifetime member of D.A.V. Unit 6 in Chattanooga, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. His son, Richard Dean Mathely precedes him in death. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Mathely; sons, Carl, Charles and Brent Mathely; daughters, Dusty Dawn Camp and Penny Rene Worley; brothers, Larry, Ricky, and Herman Mathely; sisters, Charlotte O’Donnell and Shirley Doss; as well as several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Seton Tomyn presiding.
