Barbara Ann Harper

Barbara Ann Harper, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., formerly of Upton and Sutton, Mass., passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at her home. Barbara is survived by her husband of 34 years, Donald Harper and her daughter, Erin Harper, of Upton, Mass. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Holt and Elizabeth (Spence) Holt. Barbara spent her whole career working for UNUM, where she spent over 30 years in their Worcester location prior to relocating to the company’s Chattanooga headquarters in 2010. One of Barbara’s biggest passions was rooting for her teams – the New York Yankees, the New England Patriots and especially the Boston Celtics. She and Erin bonded by attending many Celtics games as season tickets holders for the last two decades. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
