Sammy Barton

Sammy Flora Barton passed away July 2, 2019. She was born in Calhoun, Ga., on Sept. 12, 1931, to the late Bob and Ida Clyde Nesbitt. She was a member of Frawley Rd Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband James Willard Barton, daughter Judy Seaborn, and sisters Snippy Sloan, and Betty Hooper. She is survived by her grandson, Justin Seaborn; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Kinley Seaborn; and several nieces and nephews. At the request of Ms. Barton there will be no visitation service and flowers will be omitted. Graveside service will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Chattanooga, TN.
