Gwendolyn Anthony-McReynolds

Gwendolyn Alicia Anthony-McReynolds was born on Jan. 24, 1950. She was a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School. She was employed as a Dietary Supervisor at Erlanger Hospital where she retired after more than 27 years of service. She was a beloved member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where she served several years as a devoted ministry leader over the Choir and the Nutrition Ministry. She departed this life on, Saturday June 1, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Bell Anthony; brother, Robert Anthony Jr.; granddaughter, LaQuita McReynolds; devoted aunt, Matilda Daniels of Rome, Ga. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Patrice “Shug” McReynolds and Iris Davis, both of Chattanooga; son, Eric (Christi) McReynolds, of Canton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 11 a.m. with the homegoing services to follow at 12 noon at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Lansden, Sr. as the eulogist. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga Inc.
