Aileen Jackson

Aileen E. Jackson, 79, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on June 10, 2019. She was a member of Abba’s House. Aileen was retired from TVA and was a talented crafter who decorated for numerous weddings and a church she attended in Knoxville. She was a gifted seamstress who made dresses for stillborn or premature infants as well as for missions in Sudan. For the past five years she has been taking harp lessons as well. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Bessie Everett. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Eugene Jackson, Jr.; step-sons, Eugene Jackson, III and Marshall Jackson; step-grandchildren, Joshua Jackson, Daniel Jackson and Alexander Jackson; sister, Alwayna Everett; brother, Wayne S. Everett; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abba’s House, 5208 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Abba’s House with the service following immediately after at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
