Nancy Easely

Nancy Gail Sexton Easley, 83, of Hixson, left this life to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Saturday morning, March 9, 2019. Nancy, “Gran” as she was lovely known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, retired from Dixie Yarns in Lupton, City, TN after 30 plus years of service. She loved reading, working in her yard, and spending time with her precious family and dear friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Easley; parents, Irving and Pauline Sexton; sister-in-law, Barbara Sexton; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Easley. Survivors include sons, Andy (Mary) Easley, of Redwood Falls, MN, Marcus Easley, of Harrison; grandchildren, Erin (Kyle) Hoerbert, of Hartsburg, IL, Emily (Jordan) Jones, of Ponder, TX, Zac Easley of Memphis, TN; great-grandchildren Hudson and Henry Hoerbert, of Hartsburg, IL and Mattie Mae and Josie Gail Jones, of Ponder, TX; brother Jim Sexton, of Bridgeport, AL, sister Janet Sexton, of Hixson, niece Karen Sims, of Las Vegas, NV, and nephew Eddie Sexton, of Bridgeport, AL. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. An intimate celebration service with family and special friends was held at her home on Monday. In lieu of flowers, Nancy (“Gran”) requested that any donations be made in her name to your favorite charity or cause.
