James R Nash

James R Nash, Jr. age 90 of Chattanooga, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 24, 2019. James was a true Christian Gentleman who loved and cherished his family. James retired from DuPont with over 30 years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank for 42 years. He was predeceased by his parents; James R. Nash, Sr. and Edna Tucker Nash; sisters; Aileen Nash Schubert and Gloria Nash Harbin and great grandson, Hudson Horner. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 71 years, Betty Presley Nash; son, Denny (Penney) Nash; daughters; Vanessa (Frank) Loven and Vickie Lindsey; grandchildren; Derick (Samantha) Nash, Alex Nash, Brooke Loven, Jamie (Amanda) Loven, Crystal (Phil) Horner, Carmen Lindsey, and Grant Jackson; two great grandchildren, Carter Nash and Henry Horner and one brother, Wayne (LiLy) Nash, three nieces; and one nephew. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their tender care for our love one for the last eight months. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, the Alzheimers Association, or the charity of your choice.The family will receive friends 4:00pm to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 26 2019 at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
