Betty Arendale

Betty Arendale, 94, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away, Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church for 74 years and taught Sunday School for several years. Betty was full of life and laughter. She seemed to never age in body and spirit and was loved by all who knew her. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren, especially great grandchildren. She worked as a beautician all of her life and enjoyed her hair and makeup being done. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Alvis E. Arendale, Jr.; son, Timothy Floyd Arendale; siblings, Margaret Carson, Nell Jones, Ann Reeves and Johnny Fine. Survived by her sisters, Jo (Bryant) Cofer and Judy Neely; daughter in law, Carla Arendale; grandchildren, Chris (Paula) Arendale, Terri (Steve) Minnick; great grandchildren, Brianna, Baylon, Andrew, Dakota, Drake and Colton; special friend, Grace Hales. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 1-4 PM at Maple Grove Baptist Church with the service to follow at 4:00 PM with Ronnie Dotson officiating. Burial will be held at Old McDonald Cemetery.
