Russell Smith

Clinton Russell Smith, 46, of Hendon, passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, in an automobile accident. He attended Flat Top Independent Church. Russell worked as an iron worker. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Smith; niece, Whitney Hall Hughes; nephew, Ethan Hudson and infant sister, Christy Smith. Survivors are his wife, Diana Scott Smith; son, Cain Smith; step-children, Luke and Sarah Scott; mother, Naomi Smith; brother, William “Tooter” Hall (Margaret); sister, Tammy Hudson (Lynn); nephews, Hunter Hudson, Chase Hall; nieces, Candi Hall, Charlsea Hudson; great nieces, Chloe and Marlee Hughes. Services will be on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at 1 p.m. EST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Hendon Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
