A.B. Eldridge

ROSSVILLE — A.B. Eldridge, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2019. He was born in Harrison, Tenn., to the late, John and Bertha Eldridge and had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life. He was of the Church of God faith and was a Marine Corp. veteran. He was previously with the Hamilton County School Board for several years as a Janitor and had also worked with Ross-Meehan Foundry for more than 28 years. He loved gardening, being outdoors and of course going to Hardee’s was a must. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hershelene Raughton Eldridge. Survivors include his children, Diane (Cris) Stoker, Randy (Charlotte) Eldridge, Ricky Eldridge and Dennis (Amy) Eldridge; three grandchildren, Michael Stoker, Michele Morton and Stephen Eldridge; great-grandchild, Myles Morton and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Luke Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
