Beny Condra

CHICKAMAUGA — Beny Condra, 74, of Chickamauga, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 15, 2019. He was born August 1, 1945 in Sewanee, TN to the late Ben Edward and Dorothy Elizabeth Condra. Beny was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia area, and a member of River City Church. He retired from Combustion Engineering. Beny served honorably in the Army as a Vietnam Veteran and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. In his free time, Beny loved car shows, but his greatest loves were the Lord, his family, and his pups Bubba and Lucy. Beny is survived by wife Lynne Cawthorne Condra, daughters Kenissa (Trent) Hicks and Kami (Todd) Higdon, sister Judy (Lake) Jones, grandchildren Katelyn Condra, Kailey Payne, and Kameron Payne. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Martin Scott officiating. Interment in Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Al Millard Memorial Stocking Full of Love, Catoosa County Sheriff's Stocking Full of Love, or the Studebaker Club-North Georgia Chapter.
