Janie Gatlin

Janie Francisco Gatlin, 78, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully on September 27, 2019. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Janie graduated from Central High School in 1958 where she was active in many of the school activities. She was a member of Tyner United Methodist Church and a former Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Gatlin was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Elizabeth Wilson; her first husband, Larry Eugene Wilson; and second husband, Glen F. Gatlin. She is survived by her daughter, Chris Wilson Walker; two grandchildren, Whitney Taylor Walker, and Wilson Tyler (Flora Ziliak) Walker, all of Chattanooga. Janie was laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Glen in a private family service on October 16th at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service and Reception will be held Sunday, October 27, at 2 pm at The Bridge of Ooltewah. Memorial contributions may be made to the McKamey Animal Center.
