Stacie Childress

FT. OGLETHORPE — Stacie Lynne Meadows Childress, 51, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Stacie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Terry Childress, and beloved son, Jesse Lee Childress, her father, Kenneth Meadows, grandparents, Elbert and Evelyn Meadows and Jesse and Nell Bowman. Stacie is survived by her Mother, Sheila Bowman Meadows, her daughter, Cassandra (Cassie) Leigh Childress, her sister, Kellie Michele Meadows Vaughan, and Aunt, Kathy Meadows-Damm and “adopted Aunt” Wanda Carr Green, her uncle Nick Meadows, and long-time dear friend, Greg Walton. Stacie is also survived by her son and daughter’s best friends who called her Momma Stacie and whom Stacie called her “adopted kids”. Stacie was a warm loving lady with a “big heart” and beautiful smile and would share anything she had with anyone who needed it. She was so loved and will be missed by many.
