Lilla Espy

ROCK SPRING - Lilla Van Wyck Espy, age 85 of Rock Spring, formerly of Chickamauga, passed away on Monday, July 27,2020 in Colbert, Oklahoma.

She was very rich and deep in her Baptist faith. She was a member of Cassandra Baptist Church in Chickamauga. Lilla retired from North Georgia Community Action as a Director.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Jimmy “Jim” Bryant Espy; and parents, Clayton Victor Van Wyck and Jimmie Alma Story.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Hillary) Dean of Oklahoma; sons, Douglas Espy of Louisiana and David James (Dee) Espy of Cloudland, Ga.; grandchildren, Nathaniel Espy, Rachelle Dean and Shannon Dean.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 2nd at 2 p.m. in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Glenn Roberts officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 p.m. until service hour.

Interment will take place on Tuesday, August 4th at 1:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
