Matt Gregory

Matthew Robert Gregory, 63, passed away on July 20, 2020.

He was born July 3, 1957, to Helen and Bob Gregory who predeceased him. His parents taught their family to sail on their Thistle and raced in regattas, Matt continued this throughout his life. He had a lifelong love of sailing and won many regattas and trophies. He had been a member at times of both Atlanta and Privateer Yacht Clubs. He was a boat builder and retired from McLaughlin Boat Works. He really loved all sports but especially the Atlanta Braves, he was loved by his family and friends for his quiet wit and sense of humor. He loved his family, his friends and his many pets.

Matt is survived by his twin sons, Robert (wife Kati) and Peter; grandchildren Lincoln, Logan and Roderick; his dear friend, Diana Devirian; and former wife Holly Gregory; sisters, Laurie Remter and Karen (husband Dan) Neri; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
