Archie Alexander

Archie Alexander, 83, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Memorial Hospital. His wife and three daughters were with him when he went to his Heavenly home.

Archie was born October 30, 1938. He was a graduate of Sale Creek High School. He was in the insurance business for many years and then went into the trucking business.

Archie was proceeded in death by his parents, Ben and Evelyn (Trantham) Alexander and great granddaughter, Annie Burkett Shell.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years , Bobbie (Reavley) Alexander; three daughters, Nikki Gentry, Kim Burchard, and Lisa (Jimmy) Deifenderfer; sister, Virginia Jewell, eight grandchildren, Nicole (Jeremy) Mickel, Craig (Victoria) Brumlow, Ashley (Blake) Smithey, DJ Burchard, Adam (Jeanie) Burchard, Tiffany (David) Shell, Hilary (Jeremy) Raper, Hunter (McKenna) Deifenderfer; as well as, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Archie loved the Vols, the Braves and gospel singing.

Archie was saved as a child and served God as a faithful servant. He served as chairman of the Deacons for many years at Union Fork Baptist. Archie and family attended Sale Creek Church of God.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Services will be held at Sale Creek Church of God on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Bolton and Rev. Tony Wilson presiding. Archie will lie in state one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Welsh-Rogers Cemetery. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
