Mary Sisemore

CHICKAMAUGA - Mary “Jane" Smith Sisemore age 70, passed away Sunday - August 2, 2020 at her home. She was born in Chickamauga to the late Woodrow Wilson Smith and Virginia Cordelia Wright Smith. She lived most of her life in the Chickamauga area. She was a former employee of Hutcheson Medical Center where she worked in the cafeteria. She attended Lake Hills Church of God on Highwav 58. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin on Weiss Lake and boat riding. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister: Judy Robertson, brothers: Jerry Smith, Jimmy "Bo' Smith and nephew: Doug Westbrook. She is survived by her husband: Charles Alfred Sisemore of Chickamauga, GA, their children: Scott (Ginger) Green of Ider, AL, Tim (Tammy) Green of Chickamauga, GA, Cindy Green of Chickamauga, GA, Phillip (Christina) Sisemore of Fort Oglethorpe, GA Trey (Lauren) Sisemore of Ringgold, GA, loved like a daughter: Lisa O'Rourke of Rossville, GA, twin sister: Martha “June” Smith of Rossville, GA, brothers: Woodrow “Woody" Wilson Smith, Jr., (Renee) Smith of Rockvale, TN, Johnny (Cathy) Smith of Rossville, GA, 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm, all day Wednesday and Thursday morning before the service. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 3:00 pm – Thursday – August 6, 2020 with Ministers: Tim Sisson and Bill Burke officiating and eulogy by her granddaughter: Jessica Gibson.
