Hayes Ledford

CLEVELAND - Hayes Peyton Ledford, 47, departed this world, unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Jean Floyd Howell, of Chattanooga and George Peyton Ledford, of Charlottesville, Virginia, on October 4, 1972. Hayes was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian, not to mention a life-long resident, worked as a Consultant Government Agent and lobbyist, he was a member and leader for Tennessee Republican Party as well as Former Chief of Staff to Gov. Sundquist, an avid lobbyist for hospitals and municipalities, Hayes, Brad and Miles were all Eagle Scouts with Troop 60 of Signal Mountain Presbyterian and he was also an avid turkey hunter.

Along with his parents Hayes was survived by daughters, Sydney Tama Ledford and Charlotte Peyton Ledford; brothers, Brad Ledford and Miles (Emily); nieces, Mallory Kate Ledford, Addison Grace Ledford; former wife Tama Wheeler, all of Chattanooga; along with several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be Monday, August 10, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Serenity of Cleveland funeral home. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00-2:00 prior.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to The Greater Nashville Foundation: Troop 60 of Signal Mountain.

Survivors and memorial arrangements are entrusted to Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.
