Christine Boyd

Christine Robinson Boyd, age 95, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. She loved her family and was a devoted Christian who loved to sing. Christine loved to cook, garden and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Ashland Terrace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maggie Bodenhamer; husband, Loren Boyd; children, Estell Lamar and Warren Ray, Jr.; sisters, Opal Huff, Lois Braddock and brother, Lewis Bodenhamer.

Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn (Paul) Parker, Denise Smith and Debbie Robinson; sons, Windell (Joyce) Robinson, Rondell (Aundra) Robinson, Hilton (Bernice) Robinson, C. J. (Janice) Robinson and Matthew (Summer) Boyd; special sister-in-law, Betty Teachout; best friend Jackie Leichty; twenty one grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; many special nieces, nephews and a host of friends.+

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EST on Sunday, February 16, 2020 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Ed Horner and Chaplin Matthew Boyd officiating. Burial will be held in Poplar Springs Cemetery on Sand Mountain.

Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM
