Earl Casey

Mr. Earl “Wood” Casey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Wood was a native of Chattanooga, born on January 17, 1926 to the late Arthur and Pearl Casey. He served our country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. Wood was a member of Brainerd Lodge F&AM 736, Alhambra Shrine, and VFW Post 1289. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary L. Casey, and his daughter-in-law, Kathryn Casey.

Survivors include his son, Ronald W. Casey; son, Glenn E. Casey and wife Sherrill; daughter, Sandra Hoste and husband, Rick; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1st from 2-5 pm and on Monday, March 2nd from 12 pm-1 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. There will be a graveside service with military honors at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Monday at 1 pm, officiated by Pastor Tony Leonard of Graceworks Church.
