ROSSVILLE — Betty Anderson Johnson, 87, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 10,

2020. She was originally from Scottsboro, Ala., and moved to Rossville in 1968.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of Redemption To The Nations Church in Chattanooga, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Everett Johnson; son James Allon Johnson and grandson, James Allon Johnson Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Enola Johnson, of Rossville; son, Terry and

Stephanie Johnson also of Rossville; sister Navelle Smith, of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Jack Anderson, of Rainsville, Ala.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home, Pastor Kevin Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory

Gardens South In Rossville, GA.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

and 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made Mrs. Johnson’s name to Redemption To The Nations Church Mission Department, 1908 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
