Connie Davis

TUNNEL HILL — Connie Marie “Memaw” Davis 77, of Tunnel Hill, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 16, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Methodist faith. Connie retired from the state of Georgia and became a personal caretaker. She loved her kids and grandkids and all the sports activities they were involved in throughout the years. Connie loved picking black berries and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Truman Davis, mother, Dorothy Cody, daughters, Sherry Lynn Davis and Mickee Davis Toney, and a grandson, Joshua Toney.

Survivors include son, Cody (Kim) Davis, Ringgold, daughters, Jerri Davis, Tunnel Hill, and Carla Davis Carlock Silvers (Steve Silvers), Tunnel Hill, half-brother, Jackie Cummings, Cohutta, GA, grandchildren, Cody Beau and Harper Marie Davis, Clayton, Coleton and Clinton Carlock, Matthew Silvers and Stevie Marie Silvers, Logan Davis, Brandi Toney, Colby (Victoria) Toney, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Monday, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Todd Poteet officiating. Interment will be in Gordy Memorial Gardens.
