Ethel Dean

LaFAYETTE — Ethel M. Williamson Dean, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 17, 2020.

Ethel was born Oct. 19, 1933, in Fife, Ala., to the late Harmon and Claudia Williamson. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Rock Springs. In her free time she loved hospitality, quilting, canning, serving in her church, being the hands and feet of Christ, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herman Dean; twin infant sons; brothers, Edward

Williamson, L.C. Williamson, Charles Williamson, Howard Williamson; sisters, Ellie V Allen and Charlene Cline.

Survivors are her son, Timothy (Donna) Dean, of LaFayette; brother, Randy Williamson, Maryville, sister,

Louise Boran, Ringgold, Betty Welch, Pell City, Ala.; grandchildren, Zach (Jessika) Dean, John Dean and Rebecca Dean.

Funeral services will be Monday, 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
