RoDonna Eubanks

ROSSVILLE — RoDonna Marie Eubanks danced her way to Heaven on Jan. 17, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith.

Donna was born Sept. 13, 1938, the daughter of Dorthea and Thetus Luther Richards and sister to Sonny. She spent her early years walking to Missionary Ridge Grammar School, swimming at Lake Winnepesaukah, playing drums, majorette and Most Popular at Lakeview High School, driving a bright red Jeepster and falling in love with her high school sweetheart Roy Barton Eubanks marrying in 1956 with best of friends at hand. It was said that

he spoiled her rotten. They lived life in Rossville, Roy worked at TN Air National Guard for 29 years, they had two children and remained in love and married when he died 1989.

Donna enjoyed being a homemaker, bowling, playing card games and scrabble with dear

friends all while locking the screened door for the kids to stay outside, playing the piano by ear,

selling Avon, taking long drives with family and friends with cheese and crackers, and an

occasional watermelon, superb at preparing birthday parties with ice cream floats, owning the Curiosity Shoppe with Roy, loved an estate sale, thrift shopping, Sunday lunches at MeMaw’s,

naps, coffee, Hersey’s Kisses, laughing, decorating, gardening, member of The Red Hat

Society, weekly Wednesday lunches with girlfriends, flirting, music, dancing and loving her cat Baby.  She was known to be stubborn and clever with a sassy personality, would tell it like it is,

good or bad and one tough bird.

Beloved wife, mother, mawmaw, and dear friend, Donna is survived by her son, Roy Barton Jr.,

Buddy (Karen) and daughter Krista Marie Eubanks; grandchildren, Tabatha Woodard (Josh),
