Linda Roddy

Linda was born August 28, 1945 in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. She was married to Donnie Ray Roddy on May 16, 1964. Linda was a member of Unity Baptist Church and was a longtime employee of Olan Mills. Mrs. Roddy was preceded in death by her Parents, Willard and Willie Mae Smith. Sisters, Ann Gibson and Carol Mae Smith. Brothers, Jerry and Chris Smith. Left behind to cherish her memory are her Loving Husband, Donnie Ray Roddy.Son, Steve (Jennifer) Roddy.Daughters, Donna (Terrell) Lancaster, Mellisa Roddy-Olive.Grandchildren, Brittany Roddy, Casey (Nicole) Orrell, Josh (Brittany) Roddy, Kevan Lancaster,Nash Olive, William (Maleya) Olive, Savannah Roddy.

Great Grandchildren, Bentley Roddy, Ian Orrell, Olivia Roddy.

Linda lived for her Lord and for her family. Her greatest happiness came from making sure that everyone's needs were met. Be it a meal, a place to lay your head at night, or a much needed (but not always well deserved) prayer.

The loss of this beautiful soul is immense, but the cherished memories she left with us can not be measured and will never be forgotten.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday July 13, 2020 at 11:00 am Hamilton County MemorialPark, Dallas Hollow Rd. Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee 37379

The family would like to invite all family and friends to an informal “Celebration of Life” at her home on Sunday July 12, 2020 3-7 pm. 1111 Lakeside Circle Hixson, Tennessee 37343
