Gary Hixson

Gary L. Hixson, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away June 1, 2020. He was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church. Gary had worked in the Insurance Industry in various capacity for over forty years. He was a big University of Tennessee Vols fan and he loved riding his motorcycle and the group of people he rode with.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Kenny Lee and Opal Pearl Hixson; brother, Randall Hixson and two sisters, Barbara Wilson and Nancy Bowman.

He was survived by his wife, Brenda Hixson; son, Chad (Christy) Hixson; daughter, Jennifer (Halston) Duke; step-daughter, Regina (Hunt) Thompson; sister, Jane (Al) Slater; grandchildren, Julia, Jenna and Jace Hixson; Carter Duke, and soon to be arriving, Harper Duke; and Hayes Thompson along with several nieces and nephews.

His family is having private services at a later date.
