CHICKAMAUGA - Nola Ann Andrews, age 82, of the Cedar Grove Community went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 19, 2020.

Ann was born in Kimble, TN. and was a 1956 graduate of Marion County High School. She later made the Cedar Grove Community her home where she became famously known for her Chess and Pecan pies. Ann was a member of the Second Baptist Church in LaFayette. For several years she worked for the Walker County Telephone Company where she later retired under the Alltel Telephone Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Andrews; son, Bruce Brown; siblings, Bill Powell, Bit Powell, Babe Powell, Paul Powell, and Linda Powell; daughter-in-law, Debbie Brown; and nephew, Mitch Powell.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Susie (Andy) Hames; sons, Jeff Brown, and Ben (Renee) Brown; grandchildren, Jeremy (Crystal) Garrett, Megan Brown, and Emily Brown; great grandchildren, Savannah Garrett, Holly Garrett, Sydney Garrett, Valerie Hames, and Gus Hames; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private graveside service will be held in the Old Antioch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
