CHICKAMAUGA - Elsie Annette Tipton McNeely age 79, passed away on Monday – November 23, 2020. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Thomas Edward and Ruby Viola Smithson Tipton. She was a lifelong resident of Walker County, Georgia. She was a member of Battlefield Ministries Community Church in Rossville, Georgia. She enjoyed making crafts, making porcelain dolls and loved celebrating Christmas. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jerald Lee McNeely. She is survived by her son: Jerald Lee McNeely, Jr., of Chickamauga, GA, daughter: Tammie (Lee) Bowers of Chickamauga, GA, sister: Deborah (Marshall) Pickard of Ringgold, GA, brother: Steve (Lilly) Tipton of Chickamauga, GA, five grandchildren: Christina Stanley, Brandie Fleming, Jennifer Lankford, Wesley Bowers, Jerald Lee “Bubba” McNeely, III, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held graveside at 3:00 pm – Tuesday – November 24, 2020 with Pastor: Darrell Vaughn officiating at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park – Rossville, Georgia.
