Betty Hazel Brackett, 95, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 in a local healthcare facility.

Betty was born in Chattanooga, TN and lived primarily in the North Georgia area. She was of the Baptist faith, a former member of Ringgold First Baptist Church where she sang in the Senior Choir, and a current member of Delray Baptist Church. Betty served for many years on the Hutcheson Auxiliary and retired from Cutter Lab with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, canning, traveling to the beaches in Florida, and loved riding horses in her younger years.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Brackett; parents, Wilson Robert and Mattie Mae Griffith; siblings: Virgil Leonard Griffith, Ruth Marie Griffith Trotter, Willie Griffith, Cecile Griffith Dedmon, and Robert Raymond Griffith.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Elaine) Davis; grandchildren: Amy Jordan and Philip (Kathy) Davis; great grandchildren: Hunter (Anya) Abbott, Carson Davis, Camden Davis, and Emmaline Davis; great great grandchildren: Peyton Abbott and Atlas Abbott; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Jenny with Hearth Hospice for her kind and compassionate care of Betty.
