Alice Cordell

LaFAYETTE — Alice Juanita Cordell, 82, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. She was a member of North LaFayette Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Payne; sister, Ada Holcomb;

brothers, John, Tony and Jimmy Travillian; sister-in-law, Linda Beasley; brothers-

in-law, Donald, David, Cecil, and Harold Cordell.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles A. Cordell; daughter, Elizabeth

(James) Campbell; son, Rex Cordell; five grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Madaline

Lovett, Sarah Shaw, Ruth Jones, Juanita Smith, and Gail Harpe; and several nieces

and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, September 21, at North LaFayette

Baptist Church with Pastors Lowell Cantrell, Ronald McGuffey, and Charlie Hamm

officiating.

Interment at United Memorial Gardens in Dalton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
