Gwen Benton

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Benton, 90, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. She was a member of Middle Valley Church of God. Gwen was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Benton.

Survivors are her son, Roger (Alice) Benton; Robin Benton; two grandchildren, Matthew Vandergriff and Haley (Jimmie) Shetter; one great grandchild, Gavin Shetter; siblings, Ramona Swenor and Koleta Rogers; several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Henrietta Lovelady.

Services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Alzheimer’s Association.
