Kimberly Newsom

Kimberly Mathis Newsom, 59 of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed away on Monday April 12, 2021 in a local hospital.

She was a 1980 graduate of City High School. Though she had no children of her own, she was a mother to many.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Mathis; and brother, Tommy Mathis.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Newsom; her sister, Kathy (Mike) Henley, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, at 2:30 PM EDT Saturday, April 17, 2021, with Rev. Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM EDT until service time.
