Judith Anne Wilson

Judith (Judy) Temple Wilson, 80, of Ooltewah, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 5, 2021. Judy was born on December 26, 1940, in Knoxville, TN, to the late William and Theo (Rogers) Temple. Judy was of the Christian faith.

Judy was raised in North Knoxville and Fountain City. She attended Smithwood Elementary and Central High School. She had enjoyed keeping in touch with many school friends over the past few years.

Judy worked at the University of TN in the Admissions office before she and her family moved to Chattanooga in the early 70’s. While living in Chattanooga, she worked for Hamilton County School System, first at Howard High, and then she moved to the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences where she worked as Registrar until her retirement.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Earl Crosland; her sisters, Carol Baumann and Reed Mahaffey, her niece, Jan Mahaffey, her nephew, Eric Mahaffey and her great nephew, Justin Southers.

Survivors include her sister, Janice Thompson of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Eric, Josh, and Hannah Crosland and a great grandchild all of Ringgold, GA. Other survivors include her niece, Jill Southers, Mark and Glen Baumann of Knoxville, and Brad Baumann of Savannah, GA.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike in Knoxville on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 2pm.
