Norman Lee Witt
Norman Lee Witt “Chenky”, 90, of Signal Mountain, passed away Friday, Dec. 3,2021, at home. A longtime resident of Signal Mountain, Norman was a skilled automotive restoration specialist and
mechanic. His hobbies were auto and furniture upholstery. He loved to try new things and lived life to its fullest. He loved talking about the old times and studying his Bible.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles “Jack” Witt and Myrtle Moses Witt; his wife of 55 years, Betty Witt; 3 brothers, Charles,
Lebron, and Leroy; and Sister, Ester Miller.
He leaves behind to Cherish his memory, sister, Vivian Reeser (John); 2 sons, Durrell (Charlotte) and Johnny (Kim); 4 grandchildren, Cannon
(Shannon), Adrian, Jarrett (Fiona) and Tyler. He had 3 great
grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan and Kaleigh and several nephews and
nieces.
Funeral services will be at the Chattanooga Funeral Home North
Chapel, 5401 Hwy 153, HIxson, at 10 a.m. EST, Tuesday Dec 7, 2021 with visitation Monday, Dec 6,2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. EST with preacher Stacy Seals officiating.
Pallbearers will include Tim Witt, Jason Witt, Adam Ricketts, Ben Fraker, Adrian Witt, and Tyler Witt.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga
Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
