Jaime Davies

James “Jaime” Robert Davies, Jr., 36, of East Ridge passed away December 6, 2021 at a local hospital. Jaime was a lifelong resident of East Ridge. He was a 2005 graduate of East Ridge High School where he excelled in football. He was recognized as All County as a freshman and he was named MVP. Jaime was good at anything he put his mind to. He was known for his love of Palm trees and his yard was full of them. He also loved to play the drums. He won a drum off hosted by Rhythm and Brews in Chattanooga. Jaime had a wonderful sense of humor and he loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Highfield; uncle, Ronnie Highfield; and aunt, Patty Simpson.

Survivors include his parents, James Robert Davies, Sr. and Karen Davies; two brothers, Matt (Christian) Davies and Sam (Loni) Davies; maternal grandfather, James Highfield; paternal grandfather, Woodrow Davies; paternal grandmother, Jane McNeese; four nephews; one niece; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Daniel Beard officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lafayette City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
