Katherine Gable

Katherine Louise Gable, 64, adored wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 10, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Gable; parents, Leon and Elsie Dean Wright; and six siblings.

Survivors include her three children; Jennifer (Ronald) Driver, Vanessa (Ralf) Vance-Bartels, Robert (Kelly) Ledford, III; seven grandchildren; Garrett, Storm, Elijah, Mia, Matt, Gage, and Hawk.

Kathy was a lover of life and of people. She demonstrated this passion through cooking, singing, dancing, and caring for others. Her gift for care giving was evident through her many years working as a hair stylist and respiratory therapist in Chattanooga, TN.

Her kind and generous spirit were always apparent. Everyone she encountered quickly became her friend. In addition to her immediate family, she will be missed by her faithful group of friends, partner; Bobby McGowan, Katelyn, and extended family.

Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church (Chattanooga) and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19th in the funeral home chapel with Robert Ledford, Jr. officiating. Interment following at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, East

Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association Tennessee Chapter or Breast Cancer Research Foundation in memory of Kathy Gable.
