Patricia Hammons

Patricia Ann (Parsons) Hammons passed away Sunday, January 10th after a long illness. Born in East Ridge, Pat attended Central High School (class of 1950) and worked in various administrative roles during her career. She was a member in several episcopal parishes over the years including Christ and Grace churches in Chattanooga, Atlanta and Perry (GA), Elizabethtown (KY), and finally St. Martin in the Field in Chattanooga. Pat loved music, dancing, and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred O. Parsons and mother, Elizabeth (Elsie) Parsons, as well as her brother Fred (‘Old Man’) Parsons and first husband, Kenneth Ed Williams and second husband Thomas P. Hammons. She is survived by her son, Tim Williams , two grandchildren (Sara Warning and Aaron Williams) a sister, Joann Parsons of Atlanta, as well as three nieces (Sharon, Darlene, and Donna) and two nephews (Donnie and Chris).

A Celebration of Patricia's Life will be held in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga on Friday, January 22nd at 2:00 pm.

We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and the Hamilton County Health Department be adhered to. This includes “social distancing” and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
