Mary Ragan

Mary (Birch) Ragan, 82, of Signal Mountain, passed away, June 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stan and Irene Birch, and her husband of 64 years, Grady A. Ragan Jr. and son, Robert Ragan. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Grady (Yvette) Ragan III, grandchildren, Robert (Kristin) Ragan, Cameron Ragan, Rachael Ragan and many other loved ones. Mary was born in Gibson, MS on April 15, 1939 and graduated from City High School in 1957, and went on to earn her Master’s Degree from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga. She was a member and volunteer at Reflection Riding, The San Diego Zoo, secretary at D.A.R. and longtime member of TVRM. Visitation will be 9-11am, Saturday, June 26, 2021 with a funeral service to follow at 11am in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, with Pastor Chuck Barrett officiating, interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
