Peggy Gaber

Peggy Anne Gaber, 85, of Ooltewah, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.

She was born on February 4, 1936 to the late Hubert and Bonnie Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gaber, brother, Billy Smith, sisters, June Putman, Anna McNally and Sue Greene.

Peggy was a member of McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church. She worked at the Ooltewah GNC Nutrition Center for 20 years until retiring at the age of 82. In Peggy's spare time, she absolutely loved the daily challenge of solving crossword puzzles.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Michael) Craig of Memphis, Tennessee, Pam Goodman of Lebanon, Missouri, Vicky (Paul) Creekmore of Woodstock, Georgia, and Randy (Sherry) Gaber of Townsend, Tennessee, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Fred Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Due to the current pandemic, we respectfully ask that those in attendance wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC.
