Lee Roy Drew

FLINTSTONE — Lee Roy Drew, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021,

surrounded by his family. He was born to the late James Walter and Margaret Elizabeth Clement Drew in Wildwood, Ga., was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Christian faith.

Lee served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired in 2000 after more than 26 years at U.S. Pipe. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend,

who will be greatly missed.

Lee was also preceded in death by his 10 siblings.

He is survived by his

loving wife, of 53 yrs., Carolyn Welden Drew, children, Kristy (Tony) Smith, Shannon “Bubba” (Lorie) Drew and Jennifer (Donny) McGill, sisters, Frances Guffey and Thelma Casey,

grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, Hailey, Braden, Lexie, Laben, Jody and James, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2021, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Ronald Guffey officiating.

A private family interment will be scheduled at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
