JoAnn McDaniel

RINGGOLD - JoAnn Hollifield McDaniel, 73, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a retired employee of Memorial Hospital where she worked for 22 years as a cook and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee McDaniel; parents, Clifford Theodore and Mary Magdalene Bells Hollifield; brother, Clifford Hollifield Jr. and sister, Brenda Kelley. She is survived by four children, Thomas Jeff Land Sr. of Ringgold, GA., Jackie Phillips of Madison, Wisconsin, Cynthia Becker of Ringgold, GA., and Kimberly Hullander of Ringgold, GA.; two brothers, Bill Hollifield of Ringgold, GA., and Danny Hollifield Sr. of Woodstation, GA.; six grandchildren, T.J. Land, Colby Hartline, Jerrica Hartline, Ashlee Hullander, Aevea Williamson and Ari Williamson; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 25, 2021 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4-8 P.M. Wednesday and 9 A.M. until funeral time Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
