ROSSVILLE — Mrs. Deborah Jeanette Rhea Steffens, 67, passed away as she was being loved on and surrounded by her husband, family and friends on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Tenn., and the North Georgia area and was a believer in Jesus Christ. Mrs. Deborah was a hairdresser and

seamstress and enjoyed fishing and going to the beach. Above all

else though, she enjoyed spending time with her children and

grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, Thomas Bush; father, John B. Rhea; mother, Barbara J. Graham; brother, Charles Rhea, and her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Charles

Steffens; children, Jack (Laura) Akins, Matthew (Jamie) Bush;

siblings, Kenneth (Karen) Rhea, Kathy (Scott) McKeever, Randy (Carol) Rhea, Terry (Beverly) Graham; grandchildren, Paris, Madison, Jackson, Emma, Eden and Lily Akins, Ashley and Abby Flores, Dallas Dale, Bailey Boyd, Relic LaMountain; great

grandchildren, Jaxon and Sydney Hill; close friend, Arnoldo Flores; and her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to MaryEllen Locher Breast Center.
