Maggie Rudwall

Maggie Connor Rudwall passed away Wednesday, April 21st, 2021. She was 23 years old. She is survived by her mother Connie, brother Jay, loving grand and great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in both the U.S. and Canada, as well as many others she loved as family. She was preceded in death by her father, Chuck.

Maggie was born on December 21st, 1997, in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and was in her senior year at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Maggie's short 23-year life cannot adequately be summed up within the confines of an obituary. Her larger-than-life personality pushes the borders of the page. She shone brightly, touched many, loved fiercely, was the smartest, funniest, and loudest of all. Maggie loved to teach, coach and champion others. She had a heart for children and was a lifeguard, camp counselor, nanny and advocate for those that could not stand up for themselves.

Maggie's struggle with mental illness took her from us too soon, and our hearts are broken. A Celebration of Maggie's Life will be held on Saturday, May 29th,at the Waterhouse Pavilion at Miller Plaza, 850 Market St., Chattanooga, TN. Visitation for friends and family will begin at 11am,and a memorial service will begin at 1pm in the same location.

We wish to thank the wonderful people from all over that have expressed their love and condolences. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to 'The Maggie Rudwall Sunshine Fund' through the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga @ https://cfgc.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create?funit_id=2287.
