LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN — Anna Lee Simpson Miller, 85, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on

Friday morning, Nov. 19, 2021, at her home.

Anna was a fun and loving spirit and friend to everyone who knew her. She was a life-long member of New Lookout Baptist Church. When she was 42, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse and spent a long career helping many patients at NHC Rossville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jessie Hixson Simpson; her loving husband John T Miller; her devoted son, John W Miller; and her brother, Frank Simpson.

She will be missed by her daughters, Debbie Nix and Brenda (Dr. Robert) McKaig; grandchildren, Josh

Bradford, Colin (Lesley) McKaig, Jessica (Chris) Pyper, Katie (Jason) Hunter, John (Whitney) Miller; 15 great grandchildren; sister Martha (Dawlon) Conkle, brother, Bill Simpson; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tusday, Nov. 23, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the parlor of the

funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, in the Ft.

Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral home with Bro. David Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.

Pleasant Cemetery on Lookout Mountain.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to NHC Rossville Recreation Fund.
