William "Bill" Sachse

William “Bill” Sachse, 83, of Chattanooga, passed peacefully at his home October 8, 2021 with wife, Linda, by his side.

He was a graduate of Chattanooga Central where he played football on the 1957 State Championship Team. Bill coached baseball at Cumberland Youth Foundation, Woodmore School and East Ridge Little League.

He was a salesman for Kelly Cigar, Hav-A-Tampa and then formed his own company, “Bill’s Wholesale.”

Bill was a former member of Brainerd Golf Course, Rivermont Golf and Country Club, Battlefield, Rolling Hills, Black Creek and most recently Windstone Golf Club.

Bill was predeceased by his father and mother and grandson, Tristan Sachse.

Bill was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, William (Gina) Sachse, III, Stan Sachse; granddaughters, Rebecca, Veronica and Julia.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 14 at Christ United Methodist Church from 1-2p.m. The Reverend David Hall will conduct the service at 2p.m. in the church.
