Mildred Epperson

ROSSVILLE - Mildred May Maxwell Lawrence Epperson, age 95, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was born to the late Ed and Bertha Crowell Maxwell in Barton, AL, lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. Mildred retired from Standard Coosa Thatcher after more than 26 years, then retired from Bi-Lo after more than 11 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. Mildred was also preceded in death by her husbands, Vernard Lawrence and Thomas Epperson, son, Bobby Lynn Lawrence, granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Johnson and 6 siblings. She is survived by her loving children, Jimmie Sue Blaylock, Terry (Brooke) Lawrence and David Dwane (Viki) Lawrence, sisters, Shirly Tubbs, Joyce Gray and Nancy Harrison, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021 in the funeral home chapel, with pastors, Alan and Terri Crider officiating.
