Ronald Parrish

Ronnie Dean Parris, 72, of Hixson, TN passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 in a local hospital.

He was the owner/operator of Tennessee Drywall Company, a U. S. Army veteran and was of the Christian faith. Ronald was a hard-working man and a devoted family man who enjoyed doing his work, writing poems and spending time with his family. Ron was also a very Godly man and devoted himself to serving the Lord. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles David and Ruth Pope Parrish, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Parrish, sons, Ronnie (Sissy) Parrish, Jr. and Scott (Tiffany) Parrish, daughter, Jamie (Scott) Mathis, sister, Jane Ferrell, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with burial following in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors being observed.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 20 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
